Your data, your rights · Last updated: April 2026
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, subscribe to our newsletter, or contact us. This includes your name, email address, and optionally your US state and financial interests. We also collect usage data including pages visited, tools used, and search queries — all anonymised and aggregated.
We use your information to provide and improve our services, send you relevant content based on your stated interests, process newsletter subscriptions, respond to enquiries, and analyse usage patterns to improve the platform. We never sell your personal data to third parties. Period.
We use essential cookies for session management and functionality. We use analytics cookies (anonymised, no personal identifiers) to understand how users navigate the site. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. You can disable all non-essential cookies in your browser without affecting core functionality.
We may share anonymised, aggregated usage data with our analytics provider (Vercel Analytics). When you click an affiliate link to a provider, that provider may set their own cookies subject to their privacy policy. We disclose all affiliate relationships on provider pages. We do not share email addresses with advertisers.
You have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and associated data, opt out of newsletter communications at any time (one-click unsubscribe in every email), and withdraw consent for analytics cookies. To exercise these rights, email privacy@fairmeridian.com.
We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption on all connections, bcrypt password hashing, JWT authentication with token rotation, and rate limiting on all API endpoints. We conduct regular security audits and promptly address any vulnerabilities disclosed to us.
Fair Meridian is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we discover we have inadvertently collected such data, we will promptly delete it.
We will notify registered users of material changes to this policy by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
